ION-Exchange Resin Water Softeners

Standard water softeners are meant to remove hardness caused by Calcium and Magnesium use ion-exchange resin that swaps Hardness ions for Sodium ions. The resin is periodically flushed and then recharged using a Salt Brine.

These systems need little maintenance to function properly, but to avoid salty tasting water proper guidelines should be followed when installing and recharging the system.

  • Auto / Manual Softener Valve Head – 1 inch ports
  • F63C3 Automated valve head – Flow & Time programmable
  • F63C1 Automated valve head – Time Set Only
  • 100L Brine Tank
  • Cation Resin
  • Water Softener Salt (Slow Releasing Salt Pallets) – If available otherwise High end 1st or 2nd grade Granular Salt bags
  • Riser Pipe cut to length for the Size required in the FRP Vessels
  • Top and Bottom Strainers
  • Matching Cation resins bags per size of your FRP Vessel
